House of Talent Studio provides wedding photography, cinematography & videography services. We primarily specialize in South Asian weddings. As photojournalists, we shoot weddings in documentary style. We believe photographers & videographers should capture the candid moments instead of interfering & drawing attention towards themselves during the ceremony or the reception

House of Talent Studio has been providing event photography & cinematography services since 2006. We primarily specialize in South Asian weddings. As photojournalists, we shoot weddings in documentary style. We believe photographers & videographers should capture the candid moments instead of interfering & drawing attention towards themselves during the ceremony or the reception. This is the reason why we have a planned photo shoot either before or after the wedding.

H.O.T. photographers have a detailed consultation with every bride who wishes to visit us & see the portfolio in person. As we go over the couple’s day, the session turns into more than just showing our photography & videography work. As the couples talk to our wedding experts, they pick up a lot of new ideas & also go over the things that may or may not work on the wedding day. 

Sumdarash Kanwal (Co-founder & Master Photographer)

Sumdarash & Sudeep founded House of Talent Studio back in 2006. After a friend introduced Sumdarash to photography, he decided to take advance level classes from School of Visual Arts. When it comes to South Asian weddings, Sumdarash has mastered the art of capturing the perfect moments. He says, “You have to love it. I learn something new at every event. It inspires me as a photographer as I get to meet so many new & different people every week.”

 

Sudeep Kanwal (Co-founder & Master Photographer)

Sudeep Kanwal is a NY-based photographer & film director who was born and, for most part, raised in India. He graduated from City College of New York with an MFA in film, specializing in writing & directing fiction. His short film, Silent Wave played at 23 film festivals across the United States. It won numerous awards and nominations. His next short, 'Dhund' premiered at the 2018 Mumbai Film festival as a winner of the Perfect 10 category. His first feature, 'Privacy', is co-produced by Mumbai-based art house studio, Fundamental Pictures, along with House of Talent Studio.

Amrit Pal (Master Photographer)

A naturally gifted photographer who is known for his innovative style. Amrit joined House of Talent as a lead photographer back in 2016. Clients love him for his super friendly personality. An amazing human, who's always fun to be around.
